-The spoilers!
-How GH really brought ppl together, still most of my flist came from GH and I met such wonderful ppl from it.
-The fun it was coming up with ideas of what could happen and then after finding out the spoilers, talking with others about them. Or in Sage's case on AS, watching her put it together.
-It gives into my dark haired bishie weakness
-That fact that there is still more out there we dont know until we get the novels.

-Lack of fandom outside normal places. (lj or AS)
-Lack or fanart, fanficts, fan anything (unless you look hard)
-OOC ficts/People who write Naru as an uncaring ass.
-THE NOVELS ARENT TRANSLATED!! (or done)
-People keep asking if theres gonna be another season...

I hate admitting I like this XD But it was my first fandom and pretty much started by anime obsession back in the 90s so I owe it alot.

-The fact that is started my dive into anime back in the 90's, this was one of the first anime I ever saw.
-That it helped popularize anime in the US

-The dub! Evil!
-That Stars will never be licensed (course seeing the dub ok but still, Id like to buy it!)

-Girls who like Chibi-usa or just fangirls who LOVE UsagiMamoru...makes me gag.

haha mine dates back to the mid 90's when anime in the US was scarse, which is why I say my friends and I had fun with this since we'd go to Canada to hunt down stuff XD

Diamond was one of the hottest guys Id ever seen in anime in that time since well, I hadnt seen alot.

I remember back when S was licensed the SM fandom was holding its breathe since no one knew if they were gonna change Hotaru's name or not, praise kami they didnt but all the messages boards went crazy (espc over at Sailormoon.org) when it was told her name would stay Hotaru. Watching the dub now is just funny but still, I die alittle inside XD

-When this first came out, everyone was talking about it and the AO thread was jumping on it, it was alot of fun to discuss and keep track of it and figure out how it was gonna end.
-The fanart
-It was one of the first out-of-order anime which made it different.
-The animation, KyoAni did a great job.

-The massive Haruhi fanboys...
-The lack of ItsukiKyon doujinshi's

Considering you dont get alot of info from a meme, Ill give you my personal opinion on it. Like I said when this came out, everyone was talking about it. The Haruhi thread was one of my main stops on AO back in the day. Since not many people had ever heard of the novels there was little to no info on it. And after the infamous epi 00 alot of ppl were either turned off or they got it enough to give it a try. Thankfully I was one of those (also thanks to dai and sammich telling me to watch it). One of the main reasons I love this anime is Kyon, Im hoping the dub VA (I assume youre watching the dub) pulls off his sarcastic tone and monologue like his seiyuu did. He was perfect and still the best narrator Ive seen. Alot of ppl obsess of this anime and it got alot of backlash for all the fanboys and fangirl it has and the fact that it didnt make sense. But thats what I liked about it and I still think its one of the best anime and its in my top 10 for that reason.
