Ah, so I did promise "Return to Sender--Venus Rising," didn't I? It's just a short side-letter, but I thought it was fun, and addressed a couple of RtS questions some people may have. Also, because the next installment has been...well...stalled for a while, I wrote up a little non-RtS oneshot to tide the 104 fans over. :D

Anime North is this weekend. Is anyone going?

I'll be at the artist alley all 3 days, and while the vongola history comics is currently on hold, feel free to stop by the table if you're interested in checking out the original drawings for the comics or just feel like chitchatting about what kind of horrible stuff we can milk out of Vongola's dark history. My table will have a big One Piece flag on it. To those who don't read One Piece, the flag is a pirate flag with a smiling skull and crossbones wearing a straw hat.

The Vongola History comicbook won't be ready for AN, but they will (hopefully) be ready for AX. Or at least, my goal is to at least finish the story about boss 1 and 2 by the time AX comes around. So do expect the story to be done by July, and if it is still not done by then,... well, wait longer. I swear to the shonen god that I will finish that bloody story.

I will be taking bookmark commissions at AN. The cost is $5, and the rule of the game is simple:
1. I will draw any character you requested (max of 3). Any series outside KHR is fine too, as long as you bring in a reference (PLEASE do NOT request anyone from naruto. There are plenty others who draw that already).
2. I can leave the drawing in pencil, or ink it. This one is entirely up to you.
3. I can leave the drawing in black and white with line shading (like the vongola history artstyle), or I can color it with copics. This is also entirely up to you.
4. The bookmark is 1.5" x 5" and will be laminated on the spot... unless you specifically requested not to.
5. Yes, you will get the original. These are all one-of-a-kind bookmarks. They have not been and will never be mass-produced. There will also be no digital alteration.

That Tsuna bookmark is $3, if you want it. It's cheaper because it's boring. =p

If you are already planning on going to AN, and are 100% certain that you want to commission a bookmark, it's better if you let me know in advance by leaving a comment here, stating what you want. This way when you stop by my table, the bookmark will be ready for you to pick up already.

I've been trying to make a continuation on the 4-koma love drama but I got a bit disappointed after ep 6... but ep 7 was so depressing that it revived my creativity xD; While I'm working on that, I thought I'd post these 4-komas from Stage 11 that I did sometime ago while I was rewatching random eps of season 1. This is probably a terrible question to ask, but I suddenly thought about this as I was re-reading whatever of Neji I have. I was always slightly aware of this, but I kinda want to know the real reason to this: Why is Neji a mix of Kaori Yuki's old art and new art?

So my dreams were full of these crazy, disjointed pieces that were somehow supposed to be consecutive and linear but upon waking obviously weren't, and I specifically remember asking Dave, "So what would a woman who is also a white whale look like?"

...I was seriously dreaming about a white were-whale. I, I think it was actually a were-space-whale.

To answer the question, she was kind of tall and lanky and had that earnest, innocent tomboy character-type thing going on.

I, I just don't know.
