On a totally random note, Aki I finally saw the Kohl's commerical with that god awful song in it. I about screamed. Hubby was like, whats so bad about it? Then I explained how we hear it 10 times a day. So he had his guitar with him and since he can play by ear he started strumming the cords...I nearly broke his guitar...

The good: Hubby and I got our taxes done today. In the 7 years we've been filing we've NEVER gotten this much back! Maybe I should shut up about not making any money since the Gov gives you more back.

The bad: Of said money, most of it is going to hubby's mom in back rent...sigh...

Naru from Ghost Hunt.  The only time (minus chibi!naru) we see him in something other then black.  pj!naru got lots of buzz since us manga fans new it was coming.  Ghost Hunt Pajama Tea Party insued as the epi aired and the fangirls were happy.  Had to make an icon of it.  I like guys in pjs.  Made by me.


The Penguin from Penguin Prince manga.  Its not a huge secret that penguins are my fav animal and have been for years and years.  This was a gift from lkk-sensei since I made a comment at the end of chap 1 that the two holding hands with the penguin would be a great icon and she made it for me.  Again, thank you Sensei.  ^_^


Mai from Ghost Hunt.  Generally used as my O_o or Huh/What? icon since Mai's expression just screams that.  I like the animated text but Im half tempted to go back and make another one that just has everything on one frame.  I was experimenting with text alot when I made this icon.  I still like it though.  Made by me.

DEAR GOD WOMEN CAN YOU DO NO WRONG!!! IM STILL IN SHOCK FROM THIS GORGEOUS FANART OF NAMIMORI'S OWN CERTIFIED GEEK IN HIS COAT! Ive shown so many ppl Ive lost count! (Even if you dont read/watch/know Hitman Reborn, you must stare in awe at Hibari-sama!) You could not have done any better! Everything was perfect and sorry for going overboard with the coat but when I see him in it I get shivers down my spine! Course he looks hot in a black suit as well!
The shinsengumi aspect (to me) came off perfect (even if some ppl were like o_O) but I knew what you were going for! Gah I just have such a soft spot for guys in all black *_* Thank you thank you thank you thank you!! (and I swear you fict is in the works! I swear it!)

Honest to god Id forgotten what my 2nd alpha drabble req had been XD So when I saw your Ghost Hunt/xxxHolic Crossover I was like....wait what the hell!! XD  Again Holic is so good for crossovers epsc with like genres like GH and Mononoke! :D  Gah Yuuko was perfect!  Only she could get away talking to Noll like that!  8D 

Now if I could just get my GH/Mononoke crossover how I want it, Id be set... ~borrows a plot-penguin~  C'mere Eugene! (yes thats his name :P)

In other non-KHR related news...Ive been tossing around a small fanfict idea.  I mentioned something like it to woodburner cuz she's taking fanfict reqs.  I requested something with Kusuriuri-san in it but with a GH crossover to it.  She accepted the challenge! (at I think you did...right??).  And then azazel_kizoku said to me somewhere (and I dont remember where!!) that I should just write it myself since I had the idea in my head as well.  A little Mononoke/GH crossover.  So...most of you know when the plot bunnies come after me right...AT NIGHT!  Usually when Im trying to sleep.  Aki...take Charlie back please...
Anyways I actually remembered some of what Id thought about before going to sleep the other night and I wrote it down but its not ready for public view yet XD Needs some tweaking plus Ive never written Kusuriuri-san before! Hopefully Ill have it done soon.  I also have another fict in my head...a crack fict...a crack Geass fict...I should have never watched the Geass Picture CD Drama 9.33, it has caused me nothing but trouble XD

ARGH! Im not tired!!  Gonna find something to watch on crunchyroll...

Warning this post will be long XD

First order of business, I FINALLY fulfilled Aki's GH req from way back in the spring when I was taking fict reqs.  But getting inspired after midnight while listening to Enya can pay off.

Second, Im not a movie person but I saw a preview for Tim Burton's adaptation of Sweeny Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street last night and nearly fell off my bed!  It looks so good!  One, Johnny Depp is gonna be Sweeny Todd and he looks awesome! Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman are also gonna be in it :D  I may actually drag my behind into a theater to see this.  Course as we're watching the preview hubby says "What? He kills people?"  My response "Didnt you see the title!"  Now in all fairness to hubby he's probably never heard of it before so I let it slide XD.

Thirdly, time to recap all the new anime Ive been watching so far (this is where the post gets long, so time for an lj cut!)


Ok I think thats it for currently watching, that list was longer then expected XD  Also I recently finished...


Ok last thing, I dunno how many people saw the post on shibuya_pr yesterday about baka-tsuki having the GH novels on their teaser list.  Everyone who I told on irc last night hadnt seen it XD  So we could have novel translations soon but not holding my breathe til baka-tsuki offically makes it a current project but they have transed the Prologue and Chap 1 so far.  Chk the comm for the link.

Ive had a GH one-shot fanfict rolling around in my head for a few days, actually ever since I read amamiyarin drabbles on shibuya_pr since I liked how they were both short but very good, both captured the characters very well.
So my mind started thinking of one before I went to sleep the other night......my only draw back is (as I mentioned in an earlier post) Im not a fan of fanficts and Ive actually never wrote a strickly anime one before.  The only thing I write is my Kakyuu Chronicles which is my own creation and at this moment is on hiatus due to massive writers block.....
But Ive never attempted anime ficts before since like I said before, I like keeping characters the way they are which is why I dont read most fanficts and up to this point Ive only read 3 GH ones.  But I cant get this little story out of my head so maybe Ill write it maybe Ill just let it simmer in my head for a while.
On a lighter note Im almost done with Tactics ^_^

Since Im driving myself crazy waiting for the sub of GH 22 to come out Im looking for stuff to read on the net, preferably GH related.  Ive read a few thigs from kagedreams but even with the google trans, its still hard for me to follow whats going on.  Also even though Im a rampant Naru x Mai fan, I really dont want a fict centering around that.  Id much prefer something that is like how the anime is now.  Weird thing is Im not a huge fanfict person, I normally dont read them since I dont like how alot of ppl take "creative" liberties with characters, but GH appeals to me.  Actually Id love a fict about you know who but I dont see me finding one in english XD

Also Im debating on actually going to Borders and buying some of The Dresden Files novels.  My step-sister who told me to watch the show said to me that the characters in the show arent exactly the same from the novels.  This didnt surprise me since rarely is this the case in TV shows adapted from books, case in point, The Dead Zone series.  But its still a good series and so is Dresden.  So Im curious to see how the characters are different.  Like the show, the novels are told from Harry's perspective (I did read the first few pages of one).  Its been a while since Ive read a "first person" point of view book.  Also if I forget to watch Dresden tonight like I did last week, Ill scream.

Right now the only thing keeping me at the comp is the fact that Im still watching Tactics XD This is my keep my mind off GH anime at the moment along with Gankutsuou.  But too many aspects of Tactics remind me of GH so its not really working XD

Oh well back to the grind.
