Im gonna pull my hair out...

Ok so Id heard through the grapevine that Dragonlance would be made into a movie (this was a long ass time ago as well) so I wasnt too surprised to see a trailer posted to animesuki.  Right as I entered the thread I got worried.  Memembers were complaining about the animation and voices (I didnt know it was gonna be animated) Ok so Im thinking maybe CG animation or atleast something decent...

NOPE!!  Oh gawd its like they mixed it.  The dragons look CG but the characters look like sad 80's animation style.  RAISTLIN LOOKS AWFUL!!!  I am not happy!!  I would have preferred Live-Action to this, give a LOTR style to it not psudo-80's animation with some thrown in high-def dragons.

I couldnt even watch the entire trailer...

Ive been waiting YEARS for this book to be made a movie YEARS to see Raistlin in a non-book form and now this is what I get...if I were Margaret Weis Id be pissed...course it seems like they are sticking to the storyline from what I could tell but really...better animation please!!  Someone call BONES or GONZO!

Status: Begin Rant!!

Gah!! Im sick of getting Database Error everytime I log onto a forum lately!  What the hell is going on!!  I dont know if it has something to do with vBulletin since that seems to be the majority of the forums that Im having a prob with but its annoying!  That and lag...why has everything been lagging lately!!  Im getting more Timed Out messages now then ever before.....grrrrrr.......

Rant=GHOST HUNT SUBBING ISSUES
So I see today on shibuya_pr that Ureshii is dropping its joint works with SHS so this means that GH project is on hold.  Now I dont know the ins and outs of the drop but Im sure they had reasons and thats fine.  But what Im really mad about is this means that now only kagedreams is subbing (which is fine, I give Shadow all the credit for subbing this series)  My main problem is the fact that this series has gotten no attention from "main" fansub groups.  Only 6 epis have been subbed so far and the raw is already to 14.  I know there are animes out there being subbed slower but I dont obsess over them like I do GH (praise kami-sama Ouran was subbed on a weekly basis, or Id have gotten crazy!!!!)
I guess I dont want GH to take a turn like so many other anime where the project is put on hold forever or dropped.  I doubt Shadow will ever drop GH since I know they are big fans of it over at kagedreams but they also have other projects to work on as well cuz they are also the only real main fansub for Saiunkoku (which is also a good thing)
I guess Im just upset at the lack of attention GH is getting in the anime world today.  Its possibly another fansub will pick it up and kick out epis but if that happens I dont see it happening for a while.  Im starting to believe GH does have a curse/evil spirit aura about it XD  Fansub is slow, manga is on hold, novels are out of print and author only writes when she wants.  ~sigh~  What is a NaruFanGirl to do.....
